DAY 1: ARRIVAL SAPPORO TO OTARU & NISEKO

  • Meeting with the local guide in the city of Sapporo. Transfer to the port town of Otaru to visit the historic Sakaimachi district and the famous canal by the sea.
  • In the afternoon, tour to the Nikka Whisky Distillery and visit Yumoto Onsen, an active geothermal plateau with outdoor thermal pools.

DAY 2: LAKE TOYA

  • Today we will visit Lake Hill Farm famous for its Hokkaido ice cream followed by a short stop at the viewpoint on Lake Toya.
  • In the afternoon, we will ride Mt. Usu-zan Ropeway to reach the summit and walk along the crater rim of Hokkaido’s most active volcano. Next, the Kompirayama ruins trail where you can observe the destructive power of volcanic eruptions.

DAY 3: SOBETSU & NOBORIBETSU ONSEN

  • In the morning, join “all-you-can-eat fruit picking” activity at Sobetsu Fruit Village. Later, visit the Shiraoi Upopoy National Ainu Museum.

  • Moreover, we will explore Noboribetsu Hell Valley, a suggestive geothermal reserve with rivers, waterfalls and Oyunuma hot springs lake.

DAY 4: SHIMIZU, OBIHIRO & TOKACHIGAWA ONSEN

  • Today, we will visit Tokachi Millennium Forest, a unique park with prized garden designs, Shimizu Moomin Farm and Ryugetsu Sweetpia Garden, a famous dessert house with line production.
  • In the evening, Obihiro’s open-air market with lots of delicious local food stalls.
  • Overnight at Tokachigawa Onsen, hot springs resort famous for its medicinal waters.

DAY 5: SAHORO & YORKSHIRE FARM

  • Visit Hira Agricultural Farm and Sahoro Bear Mountain Safari, the best bear park in Japan. For lunch, try handmade soba in a local restaurant.
  • Afterward, all-inclusive tour at Fujita Dairy Farm to learn everything about cows and dairy production in Japan.

    Dinner and overnight at Yorkshire Farm, Hokkaido’s best sheep farm.

DAY 6: FURANO TO BIEI & SAPPORO

  • The day will start in Furano, known for its pleasant and picturesque rural landscapes. Visit Tomita Farm famous for its lavender flower’s fields, a cheese factory and Shikisai no Oka Flower Fields.
  • In the afternoon, visit Biei Blue Pond, Shirahige Falls, Daisetsuzan National Park to walk on the hardened lava, Fukiage Onsen and Ningle Terrace, an artisan village of log houses set in a forest.
  • The tour ends with a transfer to the town of Sapporo.
  • Continue to another destination in Japan or board your homeward-bound flight.
